Dock fishing

I have fished many lighted docks at night and they are almost all very productive. This is because the lights will keep a good supply of bait feeding on the plankton.

Since my dock is well illuminated with our DM260 dock lights, I can observe the fish at night without disturbing them. The bigger bass and crappie will stay right in the shadow of the post or pylons. Always.........hit those spots when fishing docks.

Ice Fishing

Scott M from Michigan sent me an interesting email. He used his Hydro Glow light ice fishing. I assume it is very dark under the ice so the light should work well. He did report the smelt came to the light just as they would in the summer. I'll get more information from Scott and update the information.
